Additional Community Beneficiaries
The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas currently provides financial services to nearly 40 accounts with more than $25 million in assets. In addition to the grants given by the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas, these account funds also continue to provide a significant impact in the Dallas community, as well:
In 2005, The Children's Foundation gave two significant grants totaling $1.1 million to All Saint's Camp and Mi Escuelita.
Church funds gave $1 million to support 2005 vestry needs including capital improvements, land acquisition, debt service, operating support and scholarships.
Diocesan funds totaling nearly $650,000 supported a vast array of community needs in 2005, including capital improvements, operating support, programs and scholarships within the Diocese.
As of December 31, 2005, individual philanthropists have given over $1.6 million in community gifts since 2003 through Advise & Consult funds managed at the Foundation.
The mission of Gaston Episcopal Hospital Foundation is to provide medical care, medical treatment, medical education and/or medical research in the State of Texas. The Foundation is financially managed by the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas, and in 2006 they awarded nearly $300,000 in grants to the following organization listed below, thus bringing the aggregate grant total given by the Gaston Foundation since its inception to just over $5.2 million:
