The Investment Committee of the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas provides ongoing oversight to the operations of the individual money managers’ accounts, financial reporting, resource allocation and performance review. The 2006 Investment Committee is comprised of eight Trustee members of the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas and one outside member of the investment community. Together they collectively represent over forty years of investment experience in advisory and financial management, with various market assets, including general securities, trusts and bonds, oil and gas, real estate and construction, among other fields.

Committee Bios

Louis J. Schaufele III serves as Treasurer and Vice-President of the Board and also as Chairman of the Investment Committee. He is a former Senior Warden at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas and currently serves on the board of the Incarnation Foundation. He has been in the investment management business for over 25 years and is a Managing Director for Stanford Financial Group. Lou received his undergraduate degree from SMU. He is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and other charitable organizations.

Robin M. Caldwell serves as President of the Board. She recently retired from JCPenney, where she had been employed since 1974, most recently as Director of Community Relations and President of the JCPenney Company Fund overseeing the Company's charitable contributions, community relations programs and coordinating marketing activities for JCPenney Afterschool and Special Events. She has served in various capacities; including lector, Budget Committee member, and Sunday school teacher at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Dallas. A member of an Allocations Panel for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for over seven years, she has served five years as a Panel Chair, as well as serving on the Stewardship Committee. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Episcopal Church Foundation, serving as Chair of the Nominations and Board Governance Committee, and on the Board of Trustees for the Parish Episcopal School, serving as Chair of the Facilities Committee. She has a B.A. in Art History from the College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University.

W. Plack Carr, Jr., Immediate Past Chairman, serves on committees and boards for the Episcopal School of Dallas, Gaston Episcopal Hospital Foundation, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Salvation Army, YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, Genesis Women's Shelter, and UT Southwestern Hospital Board of Managers. His primary interest has been to serve as President of Southwestern Medical Foundation and UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has been a member of the vestry at St. Michael and All Angels Church and has worked with St. Michael's School, Hockaday School, and St. Philip's School. He spent a year as interim Head of the Episcopal School of Dallas during the Reverend Stephen Swann's sabbatical.

William B. Madden, Chairman of the Board, has over 40 years experience in general securities and investment advisory business. He is president of Madden Securities Corporation. His firm is a member firm of the National Association of Securities Dealers and a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He has served as a Highland Park Town Council Member, and Mayor Pro-Tem. He currently serves on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation Board of Directors. His twelve years service on the Texas Water Development Board includes seven years as its chairman. He is a former Vestryman at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, and former member of the Holy Family School Board in McKinney. He is a Life Member of the Salesmanship Club and a SMU graduate.

G. Thomas Graves III has over thirty years of management experience in oil and gas exploration, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Toreador Resources Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed, publicly held oil and gas exploration and development company operating in the United States, France, Turkey, Romania, Hungary and Trinidad. Mr. Graves currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Corporation of The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. At the 112th diocesan convention, Mr. Graves was elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and Alternate Deputy General Convention. Mr. Graves is a member of the Church of the Incarnation, where he is a former Senior Warden. Mr. Graves is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a master's degree in business administration in 1976.

Howell D. Harralson, an SMU business school graduate, is a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services, Inc. A member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Mr. Harralson's civic activities include the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, the City of University Park Finance Committee and Employee Benefits Committee, the SMU Alumni Association Board, YMCA committees, and a term as Salesmanship Club Foundation Chairman.

John M. Hind is a Sr. Vice President and Portfolio Manager for the Dallas Region with Frost Bank and has 38 years of experience in the investment business. He is a long-standing member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth. He has served as the Treasurer for the Diocese of Dallas since 2004. Since he moved to Dallas in 1981, he's been an active member of St. James Episcopal Church, serving as a former Senior Warden, Chalice Bearer and member of the Finance Committee for the church. He has served as the past president of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew and as a Sunday school teacher and confirmation teacher. John has also served as Lay Director for the Curcillo Movement for the Diocese of Dallas and Fort Worth, on Happenings and New Beginnings Teams, as well as on the Board of the Episcopal Renewal Center. John is a graduate of University of Texas.

Langford Keith, III is Vice President - Investments in the Wealth Management and Business Banking division of UBS. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and received his MBA from Thunderbird - the Garvin School of International Management. Ford began his career in banking and wealth management at Republic Bank - Dallas, now Bank of America. He is a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Matthew, where he has served as Treasurer. He is a board member of the Pre-GED School at the Cathedral, advisory board member of the Wilkinson Center, and past president of the East Dallas Cooperative Parish.

His involvement also includes teaching Sunday School and being the past-president of the Incarnation Foundation and past Senior Warden. Lou received his undergraduate degree from SMU. He is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and other charitable organizations.

Dan E. Wilson is a former Senior Warden at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Dallas, where he remains an active member. After completing a 29-year career with UBS Financial Services where he served as Managing Director for the southwest region of the firm's Municipal Securities Group, he founded Beyond Imagination, an executive and professional coaching practice. Mr. Wilson is active in a number of organizations in the church, the community, and around the state. He recently completed a three-year term on the Executive Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, and currently serves on the board of trustees for The Canterbury Episcopal School in DeSoto. He is vice chairman of the board of trustees of Star Ranch, a residential treatment center for abused children located in Kerr County, Texas.
